Sarah Higgins-Monares MA, MA, LPC
Therapist & Coach
In 2006, Sarah received a Master's degree in community counseling: marriage and family therapy, as well as a Master's degree in school counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked in a variety of settings and specializes in families, couples, individuals, divorce, and parenting. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Child and Family Investigator, and Certified Family Mediator. She believes that we are greatly affected by the relationships in our lives and approaches therapy from a systemic perspective. It is important to her to take a realistic approach to therapy and find what works for each person. She assists and encourages clients through personal growth and strives to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, nurturing environment in order to provide you with the greatest opportunity to take the steps necessary to lead a more fulfilling, healthy, and happy life.
In addition to being a therapist, she is also a speaker, and life and business coach. She hosts multiple online trainings and group coaching opportunities. She would love to chat with you and help you determine whether coaching or counseling is a best fit for you.
Sarah is a Colorado native and loves to go camping in the warmer months. When she's not working, she's spending time with her husband and two children. She loves adventure, traveling to new places, and helping people live and love to their fullest potential!
Danielle Hughes, NCC, LPCC
Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) who received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Danielle offers a safe and non-judgmental space for children (5-18), individuals, couples, and Veterans to come and explore the wounds that are causing them depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and stressors in their daily lives. While Danielle draws from a variety of trainings, experience and methods, she also believes that therapy is a creative and collaborate process, and that together you will discover what guides you to healing. She has training in Synergistic Play Therapy, The Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), and EMDR. Danielle is also a Veteran.
The mission of Chrysalis Center is to strengthen individuals, parents, families, and couples through education, support, and mental wellness services in order to transform each person as a whole. Chrysalis Center programs focus on strengths, meeting basic, therapeutic, supportive, and educational needs in order to encompass all individual and family needs. Individual therapy focuses on addressing issues that hinder personal growth and concentrates on supporting each individual to reach their highest potential to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. The core family objective is centered around keeping families unified, cohesive, and fervent.
